The European Literacy Trail at 20th European Conference on Literacy

Since 1991 I’m a member of IDEC and ILA. So I want to share some information on this also on my personal edublog and sometimes I crosspost some information on activities here from the IDEC website  were I am the postmaster too.  Here more information on the 20th European Conference on Literacy, which takes place in Madrid from tomorrow and were I am now. I write this in English, showing my good will to my international friends.
The European collaboration goes way back. This is the 20the European Conference on Literacy, so 40 years of networking for literacy. See the beautiful poster. Since the European associations organized all these conferences each organisation wrote a report about their history. Look at the reports at  the history of each the associations. And we made a beautiful poster out of this. Look at it and marvel.

Election Bernadette Dwyer as the new Vice President of the ILA

From a international, European, perspective we are very happy for the election of Bernadette Dwyer from Ireland as the new Vice President of the ILA.
I, a long standing IDEC member, have not discussed this yet with the other IDEC members and so write this as a private person, but I’m sure I’m not the only one, who feels this way.

Let me know and write a comment.
