De Werkgroep Onderzoek Didactiek Nederlands (WODN) publiceert online het Handboek Vakdidactiek Nederlands. Ik schrijf daarin over Digitale geletterdheid en het vak Nederlands.

Deel 2 is op 25-01-2022 verschenen als Digitale geletterdheid (deel 2): Strategisch lezen en Zoekvaardigheden online en is hier online beschikbaar. 

Deel 1 is op 24-01-2021 verschenen als: Digitale geletterdheid (deel 1): een uitdaging voor het (taal)onderwijs en is hier online beschikbaar. Hierin bespreek ik dat de wereld van informatie en teksten heel erg veranderd is. Informatie is overal, van alle soorten, alle kwaliteiten. En er zijn nieuwe vaardigheden voor nodig. De definitie van leesvaardigheid  is veranderd. Wat betekent dat voor de inhoud en didactiek van het vak en schoolbreed.

You are invited to submit a proposal to present at the 22nd European Conference on Literacy and the 44th Annual Conference of the Literacy Association of Ireland, to be held in Dublin on July 5-7, 2021.

Ik had vaak moeite met mensen die met verve zeiden dat ‘lezen op het scherm’ fout was, of af te raden, omdat deze meningen vrijwel altijd niet ‘research-informed’ waren, een erg binaire manier van denken hadden of vooral een romantische zucht naar vroeger. Maar het is wel duidelijk dat het lezen online/ digitaal de manier van lezen beïnvloedde en dat er ook nadelen aan kleefden.

International ELINET Symposium 2018 “Literacy in the 21st Century: Participation – Inclusion – Equity”
You can download the conference programme in color or in black & white.
To register for the conference please visit the symposium page on the Elinet website. Here you can download the registration form and send it to gross-projects[at]web.de until July 12th 2018.

There will be no conference fees. Participants will only have to cover travel and accommodation costs by themselves. We hope to see you all.

De HSN conferentie vindt dit jaar plaats in Brussel op 16 en 17 november. Zie informatie op de site van de HSN.
Ruim twee maanden geleden heb ik hier een Call for Papers voor de HSN-conferentie 2018 gepubliceerd. De deadline is 21 maart 2018. Dat is morgen.
Ik ben weer (mede)kolomleider voor de stroom Innovatie/ Digitale geletterdheid.  Het enthousiasme vanuit Nederland laat te wensen over. Je hebt nog een dag om je voorstel in te dienen. Doe het via dit formulier!

Inmiddels is het programma voor de 31ste HSN Conferentie Onderwijs Nederlands (24 en 25 november 2017 in Zwolle) op de website geplaatst. Ga voor de meest recente informatie naar de website van de HSN. Zie het mooie programma en bedenk welke workshops je wil bezoeken. Het worden twee leerzame dagen. Een must voor de professionele docent, die het onderwijs Nederlands nog beter wil maken. Kom naar Zwolle.
Bedankt, alle collega’s die zich al hebben ingeschreven. Er zijn nog een paar plaatsen open, je kan je nog inschrijven.

Het onderwijsproject Verborgen Familieverleden van Ferdi Schrooten en mij krijgt steeds meer aandacht van de lokale pers, zowel van dagbladen als van televisie. Zie eerdere blogs over dit onderwijsproject hier en hier.
Betekenisvol onderwijs en koppeling met onderzoeksvaardigheden, onlinegeletterdheid/ digitale geletterdheid, schrijven en persoonlijkheidsvorming is interessant, en niet alleen voor leraren.

Ook de televisie heeft belangstelling. Op 20 april kwam NH TV/ Media op bezoek om het Scholengemeenschap Huizermaat in Huizen voor een item over de lesmodule ‘Verborgen Familieverleden’. Ze hebben daarbij een leerling geïnterviewd die onderzoek had gedaan naar zijn grootvader die in de Tweede Wereldoorlog zowel aan de goede als aan de verkeerde kant had gestaan.… Read the rest
