ELINET’s Annual Topic 2020: “Enhancing Digital Literacy Skills: Good Practices for Early and Primary Years Education”
at the 4th Baltic Sea Conference on Literacy in Tallinn on January 18, 2020, from 11.30 to 17.30!

This CALL addresses all members of the ELINET Association and external experts to contribute to our Annual Topic (above).
We want to collect, exchange and analyze research and good practice examples on this topic – especially projects, reports and examples which are only available in national languages and need to be translated into English in order to reach out to the international community of literacy experts, researchers and practitioners.… Read the rest

De 33ste HSN Conferentie Onderwijs Nederlands was weer heel geslaagd. En Windesheim had het prima georganiseerd.

Een overzicht van het hele programma vind je hier. Voor wie niet geweest is, kan alle teksten vinden in de prachtige HSN-bundel, dit jaar direct te downloaden via het Taaluniversum van de Taalunie, een sponsor van de conferentie.

Ik was weer stroomleider Innovatie en Digitale geletterdheid. In deze post geef ik een overzicht van het programma van deze stroom en de presentaties worden hier allemaal beschikbaar gesteld. Kom even terug als je nog niet alles ziet.

De HSN-conferentie is een jaarlijkse conferentie over het onderwijs Nederlands in alle delen van Nederland en Vlaanderen, en op alle niveaus: primair en secundair onderwijs, beroepsonderwijs, hoger onderwijs, Nederlands voor anderstaligen.

Het onderwijs Nederlands bevindt zich in de kern van elk onderwijscurriculum. Binnen de HSN Onderwijs Conferentie Nederlands trachten de deelnemers antwoorden te zoeken op de vaak complexe en moeilijke oefening die het onderwijs Nederlands met zich meebrengt, vaak in een meertalige context.  De conferentie wordt in het format aangeboden dat haar ‘groot’ heeft gemaakt: een forum aanbieden aan allen die bij de ontwikkelingen van het onderwijs Nederlands in Vlaanderen en Nederland betrokken zijn en dat in alle omgevingen waarin en alle niveaus waarop Nederlands geleerd wordt.… Read the rest

Since 1967, UNESCO International Literacy Prizes have rewarded excellence and innovation in the field of literacy. Over 490 projects and programmes undertaken by governments, non-governmental organizations and individuals around the world have been recognized. Through these prestigious Prizes, UNESCO seeks to support effective literacy practices and encourages the promotion of dynamic literate societies.

We hebben deze week het project Verborgen Familieverleden (VFV) voor het derde jaar uitgevoerd op Huizermaat in Huizen met 25 V4 leerlingen. Het was de korte variant: een week research doen naar een overleden bloedverwant en van de resultaten een poster maken.
Zie hier eerdere berichten over Verborgen Familieverleden. VFV heeft nu ook een eigen website.

Er zijn weer prachtige resultaten uitgekomen, van een Viking in de negende eeuw als voorouder, een 18e eeuwse burgemeester van Zutphen met veel mooie villa’s tot een grootmoeder die in de zestiger jaren op de fiets van Oost- naar West-Amerika heeft gereisd.
Een aantal leerlingen wil doorgaan en het onderzoek nog verdiepen.… Read the rest
